HANDCRAFTED FILMS

This past weekend brought us another local wedding in downtown Richmond with the sweetest couple! Evanne found us on the explore page of Instagram. Which, if you’re in the wedding industry, you know that being found there seems nearly impossible. But her sweet inquiry reminded me that it IS possible and people truly can “stumble upon us!”

And I’m so grateful that Randy and Evanne “stumbled upon us!!” We loved celebrating with them and their families and friends in the city that first brought them together!

We loved working alongside our sweet friend Audrey of Audrey Rose Photography! See more sneak peeks of their photos here.

I like to think that Randy and Evanne have the perfect Hallmark movie kind of story. Evanne is from a small town in Ohio. Randy’s Grandma, Bea, also lives in that same small town.

One day, Evanne’s Mom was in town and saw Bea. She asked about what Evanne was up to and her Mom mentioned that she had recently moved to Richmond. To which Bea responded, “oh, I have a grandson in Richmond.” Bea left and immediately picked up the phone and called Randy to let him know she had just found him a girlfriend! And that my friends, is where it all began!

In my opinion, there’s nothing better than a cross state line matchmaking service – especially when your grandma is involved!!

It is always such an honor to be invited into each of our couple’s stories! And we’re so grateful these two chose us to share in their wedding day! Enjoy this sneak peek of their beautiful day!

Meet Ashley

A true sweetheart from Southwestern VA, Ash spent many Sundays after church sitting around the table with her grandparents, listening to stories about the “good ‘ole days”. A talented visionary with a true heart for people, she’s likely to be found reading, writing, and planning away.
