No rain, no hurricanes, and no threat of tornados, yes please! This past weekend’s wedding was a dream! It was overcast for the majority of the day but that made for the dreamiest, even light. Ty and I made the quick trip down the road from our house to Seven Springs for Mike + Megan’s local wedding! Seven Springs always reminds me of a modern Colonial Williamsburg – like a miniature version of it! It is so well maintained and seriously the perfect place for an all-in-one location for a wedding!!
Mike and Megan met in 2011 at their Summer job. Mike quickly became the guy that Megan couldn’t stop talking about. Her friends and family knew early on that there was something special about him the more they heard about him. And, they were right!!
Fast forward six years – they were engaged. And one year later, they’re married! These two have endured long distance through college, navigating through the transition from college life to the working world, and have been constant supports for one another throughout the past seven years. I always love celebrating with couples that have been together through some parts of high school, college, and into the workforce life. There are so many fun stories and memories shared throughout their wedding day because they’ve known each other for so long! And that is so special to capture! It truly feels like a lifetime kind of love!!
We LOVED celebrating with Mike and Megan and their friends and family this past weekend! We’re also SO excited to share their sneak peek with you! Megan seriously has the BEST eye for details and I love how her whimsical, classic, greenery-filled wedding came into fruition! Enjoy!
