This past weekend Ty and I wrapped up our back-to-back nine week filming spree with Kienan + Erin’s wedding at King Family Vineyards! We’ve visited King Family multiple times for the wine – (the Crosé being our favorite!!) but this was our first time filming a wedding!
Fall was just starting to peek through the leaves, the weather was overcast and mild, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day! And, you just can’t beat the Blue Ridge Mountain views all around! Charlottesville is truly one of the most beautiful places in the Fall!
Kienan and Erin met on a Disney cruise in 2012. They both felt like they were seeing one another everywhere. So, when they ran into one another for what felt like the millionth time, Erin finally said hello. From there, they started talking and both felt like they had been friends for their entire lives. When it was time for the cruise to end, they both knew they couldn’t let distance keep them from furthering their friendship. And the rest, as they say, is history!
After thousands of miles between them, multiple road trips to see one another, late night skype calls, phone calls, and Facetimes, long distance is a officially a thing of the past! And these two are officially husband and wife!
Ty and I had the best day celebrating with these two! It was extra special for me because Erin’s mom and I were in the same bible study and few years back at our church. I heard her talk about her girls multiple times and it felt like full circle to be together with their family this weekend capturing Erin’s wedding! AND, it was also extra special for Ty. Kienan is also a WVU alum and “Sweet Caroline” and “Country Roads” were a part of the DJ’s playlist during the reception. Ty about lost his mind with joy on the dance floor and loved singing along with all the mountaineers in attendance! Seriously, highlight career moment for him, haha!!
Enjoy this sneak peek of their beautiful fall day!
