Ten years ago in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, is where it all began. Erik and Steph were out one night at McGillian’s Olde Ale House. They became instant friends. For four years they nurtured their long distance friendship. But it wasn’t until 2011, when Erik came back to Philly to visit some friends that their romantic relationship began. Shortly there after, he asked Steph to be his girlfriend. And six years later on a hike in Meredith, New Hampshire, Erik asked Stephanie to be his wife.
This day has been a decade in the making. Steph was never the girl that obsessed about her wedding day or had all the details planned out. She wasn’t hounding Erik to propose or dropping hints about what ring she would like. She knew that when the time was right, it would just be. And it was! Enjoy this sneak peek!!
Erik and Steph knew that they wanted their wedding day to be different. So they threw caution to the wind and went against the grain in planning their wedding day. They had their reception in a greenhouse, didn’t serve cake, and didn’t have traditional toasts, but gave the welcome speech themselves! It was such a fun change of pace of a wedding day and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture the beginning of the next chapter of their life together!
