Dear Monday, You’re ushering in my FAVORITE week of the year – my birthday week!! We don’t have any big plans, (a part from dinner because it’s also Restaurant Week here in Richmond!!) but that’s just how I like it – low key 👌🏻

Dear Spring, I think…you might have finally arrived. I don’t want to jinx it, but seriously, I think you’re finally here to stay! And all the warm weather loving friends said AMEN!

Dear Huck the Husky Pup, You spent all last week here at Fireside Drive. It made me realize how “unready” I am to ever have a big dog…I think. Well, unless we fence in the back yard. That might change my “feelings” because it would make everything 100% easier, haha! I somewhat felt like we had a child for five days. One that shed a whole lot and had a lot of activities to tend to every day! Huck was quite

Dear Richmond, I’ve fallen in love with you in a new way recently. I mentioned a few weeks ago that one of our big goals this year is to explore more of our little city. I joined “Here” a few weeks ago by recommendation from a friend. Here is a weekly email newsletter offering three ideas on cool happenings in Richmond and I LOVE it! It’s so fun to stay up to date on what’s going on around us! I already LOVE planning out fun things to do and this helps cut down on the time it takes me to research things to do! Seriously, if you’re an RVAer, you should sign up! It’s completely free!!

Dear Ty, This time next week we’ll be packing our bags for the Connect Retreat for the last time. Experiencing this sweet, intentional time together as a couple for the last three years has been so life changing for us! I’m so sad that this will be the last one, but that just means we have to “extra” soak this one in!!

Happy Monday friends! I’m off to sip some coffee and read a chapter out of a new book I just started before I head to the gym! I hope you have the best start to your week!

The idea for Dear Monday developed from a deep love for storytelling. Letter writing kept us close in spirit though thousands of miles kept us physically apart for quite a while throughout our dating relationship. This became the foundation for what our business was built upon. The idea that “true love can go the distance”. And even the seemingly small things like a simple note here or there, two hearts can be connected and a story can be written that is so much more beautiful than our minds can simply dream up.
