Dear Monday, I woke up this morning to Ty’s alarm clock that had been going off for 10 minutes, #theWORST. I told Ty that we need to create an alarm clock that only wakes up the person they are intended to wake. Something that somehow transmits the sound to only that persons ear or something. Doesn’t that sound awesome to anyone else?!
Dear Herrinton Adventure, Last Wednesday we wrapped up our 11 day trip from Baltimore, to San Francisco, to Oahu, to Maui, back to Oahu, off to San Diego, and back to Baltimore. Whew!!! It was a whirlwind for sure but SO much fun! I can’t wait to write up a full recap of all the things we did, ate, and saw and all of my recommendations (because those are some of my favorite blog posts to read!) in case you’re planning a similar trip yourself! So hang on to your hats! It’s coming soon!
Dear RVA, Ty and I LOVE you! We love when friends and family come to visit and we get to show them around our city and take them to places that we love! One of our big 2018 goals is to explore our city more so we don’t have to take friends and family to all of the same places over and over again! Yesterday, we headed downtown to Postbellum, in honor of Richmond Brunch Weekend to support cancer research at VCU Massey Cancer Center. We loved it!!
Dear “Ty’s Tech Line”, One of my favorite episodes just launched today!! My Daddy is on the show talking all about technology and how it’s changed in his line of work as a UPS driver over the past 20 years! If you’ve ever wondered where I get my country twang from or why I love my Daddy so much, you have to listen! Daddy so smart and works so hard! I think we often take the “delivery process” of our packages for granted. How often do you think about your delivery man and what his job might be like for him? This is a great “insider” look into the job! Go over and give it a listen and then leave us a review of the show! It would mean the world!
Dear Ty, Remember that one time I convinced you to drive home from Annapolis in a massive snow storm after we had just taken a red eye from San Diego last week? You da best boo! It might have been dangerous, maybe even a little scary, but being in our own space for less than 24 hours was WORTH it!!
Happy Monday sweet friends! It’s a BIG week in the Herrinton household this week! If you’re on our email list, then you already know! If not, and you’re a filmmaker, you should probably hop on over there!! In other news, stay tuned until tomorrow for a sneak peek from our first 2018 wedding from this weekend! It’s going to be a good one!
The idea for Dear Monday developed from a deep love for storytelling. Letter writing kept us close in spirit though thousands of miles kept us physically apart for quite a while throughout our dating relationship. This became the foundation for what our business was built upon. The idea that “true love can go the distance”. And even the seemingly small things like a simple note here or there, two hearts can be connected and a story can be written that is so much more beautiful than our minds can simply dream up.
