Dear Monday, The only reason I’m ok with heading home today is because it’s raining here in Maui 😭 I legit tried to convince Ty to let me change our flight so that we could stay one more day here and still make our final flight back home. Although, I would have been super bummed if I had went through all of that trouble only to wake up to rain today. Alas, we’re headed home ✌🏻
Dear In-N-Out, It wouldn’t be a trip to California without a trip to you! We took Daddy for the first time last week before we left for Hawaii. I just have to say, any fast food restaurant that has dairy free options that don’t include you just eating lettuce is my JAM!
Dear Adventure, You are legit my favorite thing. I was the tour guide for this trip! I didn’t know anything coming in – Google was legit my best friend, but I feel like I know SO much now! I scheduled for us to kayak out to Chinaman’s Hat in Oahu and had the expectation that it would be the BEST thing we’ve ever done. I failed to take into account potential weather conditions 🙈 After 30 minutes of kayaking across rough waters in pouring down rain, with Ty holding $6000 worth of equipment…I started to have second thoughts. That it until we finally made it to the island, it stopped raining, and we got to hike to the top. This experience with forever rank as top 10 things I’ve ever done!!
Dear The Road to Hana, I scheduled 3 hours into our itinerary to complete you. LOLLLL. More like 12 hours necessary at the minimum. I think we went 15 MPH the whole time but it was SO worth it. The hike at Seven Sacred Pools at Ohe’o was WELL worth the long drive there and back! It’s an extra 45 minutes past Hana, but SO beautiful!!
Dear Ty, Remember that time we woke up two days in a row at 3AM? LOL. It’s fine, we’re just reacclimating back to east coast time…right? 😉
Happy Monday friends!! I’ll be posting much more about our trip with a full travel guide sometime soon!! Ty and I will be hopping on YouTube live tomorrow at 7PM EST to talk about “5 Tips to Getting Your Name Out There When You’re Just Getting Started“! See you then!
The idea for Dear Monday developed from a deep love for storytelling. Letter writing kept us close in spirit though thousands of miles kept us physically apart for quite a while throughout our dating relationship. This became the foundation for what our business was built upon. The idea that “true love can go the distance”. And even the seemingly small things like a simple note here or there, two hearts can be connected and a story can be written that is so much more beautiful than our minds can simply dream up.
