Dear Monday, It’s rainy outside. That pretty much conveys how I feel today ✌🏻

Dear Things I’ve Been Loving Lately, This book, this dinner, this makeup bag!

Dear Babies, I lovuhya! My best friend had her baby, Klara Joy, last week and Ty and I got to be there the day she was born. What a sweet day that was! We didn’t know if she was a boy or a girl before she was born which was such a fun surprise! I also traveled to Lynchburg on Saturday to celebrate our sweet friends Nate and Kelsey and their miracle baby-to-be! I’m so grateful for this fun season in so many of our friends’ lives as they take on parenthood. It’s been such a joy to walk alongside each of them in this new season!

Dear New Drone, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say you might be Ty’s favorite gadget we’ve ever purchased 😂 We now take you places to show you off to all of our friends. I assume this is what people do with real life babies…and then feel proud of all the things they can do. In this case we just have #droneselfies and this crazy thing that people can’t seem to get over. I assume we’ll be keeping you around for a while ‘ole friend 😉

Dear Ty, You spent all day Saturday hanging with a bunch a ladies while filming for Hope Taylor’s Senior Posing Course. I think you may have been exposed to enough estrogen to last you for at least a month ;] Right boo?

Happy Monday sweet friends! We’re always grateful to those of you who are faithful to showing up here every Monday to stay updated on our crazy life!

Ty and I will be live on our Facebook Business page again tomorrow night at 7PM EST talking all about “Questionnaires for Wedding Filmmakers.” We’ll be breaking down how we’ve implemented them into our business to enhance our storytelling. We hope you join us live!

The idea for Dear Monday developed from a deep love for storytelling. Letter writing kept us close in spirit though thousands of miles kept us physically apart for quite a while throughout our dating relationship. This became the foundation for what our business was built upon. The idea that “true love can go the distance”. And even the seemingly small things like a simple note here or there, two hearts can be connected and a story can be written that is so much more beautiful than our minds can simply dream up.

Meet Ashley

A true sweetheart from Southwestern VA, Ash spent many Sundays after church sitting around the table with her grandparents, listening to stories about the “good ‘ole days”. A talented visionary with a true heart for people, she’s likely to be found reading, writing, and planning away.
