Dear Monday, It’s December and officially the last month of the year. My morning got a little derailed when the guest bathroom shower started leaking through the air vent in the kitchen. We think we might know the reason why it happened, but pray if we’re wrong, that it’s an easy fix!

Dear Fireside Drive, You’re all decked out for Christmas which makes me love you a little extra. That is until ^^^ (what I mentioned above). You’re getting old ‘ole girl. Be easy on your owners ;]

Dear Advent, I’ve always wanted to do something intentional and meaningful to celebrate the advent season well. But, I could never quite find something that I loved. That is until I met Jess Connolly who introduced me to her advent calendar and devo when we filmed something for her business (now known as All Good Things Collective), a few years ago. I’m four days in to this advent season and loving how intentional these tools are for growing closer to Jesus in this season!

Dear Christmas Shows, There’s literally nothing more festive! Ty and I spent Saturday night and Sunday afternoon supporting two of our friends in their different Christmas shows and it was a blast! It’s always fun to see friends outside of their every day element and in an environment where they get to use their gifts and talents in a different way! I love it!!

Dear Ty, I know you said that we’re done decorating for Christmas, buttttt, I’d really love some battery powered Christmas lights around the staircase handrail. kthanksloveyoubye.

Happy Monday friends! This week is a short week for me (Ash)! I’m headed to New York bright and early Thursday morning for my yearly New York at Christmas trip with my Momma. Usually, the whole fam goes! But this year, it’s just a “Momma and Me” trip! I can’t wait!!

The idea for Dear Monday developed from a deep love for storytelling. Letter writing kept us close in spirit though thousands of miles kept us physically apart for quite a while throughout our dating relationship. This became the foundation for what our business was built upon. The idea that “true love can go the distance”. And even the seemingly small things like a simple note here or there, two hearts can be connected and a story can be written that is so much more beautiful than our minds can simply dream up.
