Dear Monday, We woke up beside the ocean this morning 🙌🏻 After shooting a double header this weekend, we taking some time to recharge today before we head back to the grind tomorrow!
Dear Google Hangout, Thank you! Thank you for being the best invention ever (well, when you work ;])!! Because of you, I got to chat with three of my best friends from college last week all at the same time even though we’re all spread out across the US. But, it felt just like we were all snuggled up in the same room. It was just the best!! On a similar note, I had just finished Lara Casey’s new book “Cultivate” and in one chapter she addresses our need for meaningful relationships. She says, “good friends overlook your broken fence and admires your garden”. Truer words have never been spoken for this group of girls and what they mean to my life!! They’re always willing to go deep, ask the hard questions, and love me right where I’m at and I’m so grateful!! Find your people friends, no matter what the distance, and love them hard!!
Dear Dawson’s Creek, I’m almost ashamed to admit that I started watching this again. Like…I literally can’t believe I watched this as a preteen every morning before school. But, all thanks to my recent girl crush, Bev Cooks, I’ve gotten sucked back into the drama. (Did you know you can watch it FO free on Freeform?) Alas, it has me continually repeating – “I can’t believe my parent’s let me watch this” over and over, haha! Also, how in the world did they decide to pick these “kids” to star as high school aged actors/actresses. They look SO old!!! Do you have a recent, favorite show binge?
Dear Hardywood, Your Thursday Night Food Truck Court always feels like summer to me! There’s nothing better than sampling a variety of foods and hanging out with sweet friends over a cold brew! If you’re an RVA local, you HAVE to visit at least once this summer! I promise you won’t regret it!!
Dear Ty, Only you would order special sunglasses to wear one day a year that would in turn not show up for that “one day”. I guess there’s always next 4th of July boo to wear your special sunglasses ;]
Happy Monday sweet friends! We hope you have the best, joy-filled week yet!
The idea for Dear Monday developed from a deep love for storytelling. Letter writing kept us close in spirit though thousands of miles kept us physically apart for quite a while throughout our dating relationship. This became the foundation for what our business was built upon. The idea that “true love can go the distance”. And even the seemingly small things like a simple note here or there, two hearts can be connected and a story can be written that is so much more beautiful than our minds can simply dream up.
