They met when they were kids because their dad’s were best friends, but through distance and time, they didn’t reconnect until 3 years ago. Corey’s sister, Emy and her husband Joe had traveled down to Virginia Beach to have dinner with Morgan’s family. After hanging out with Morgan that afternoon, Emy was convinced she needed to meet Corey.

It just so happened that about 2 months later Kevin, Corey’s dad, was celebrating his 25th year of being a Pastor at their church! So, Morgan and her family traveled up to celebrate with them. They had a great day reconnecting and catching up on each others lives after so many years! And, Corey walked away that day with Morgan’s number because Emy sneakingly put them all in a group text! A few days later Morgan heard from Corey. He had asked if she would want to meet halfway for lunch one day. Morgan immediately said YES, and they had their first lunch date at a Mexican restaurant (Corey’s favorite)! And the rest as they say, is history!

Ty and I have been looking forward to Corey + Morgan’s wedding day all year! It is such an honor for us when dear friends entrust us to capture their wedding day, so this one was extra special for us! I remember shooting a wedding with Michael and Katelyn in Maine a few years ago when Corey + Morgan were on their first date. And Emy sent updates to KK after the date was over and we all doted over all the details that night. And now here they are, getting married!!! Enjoy this sneak peek from their beautiful day!!
