Every couple has a story. And when you know the intricate details of someone’s story, of how they came together, and how they’ve fought for one another through the best of times and the worst of times, there’s something about that – no matter how long you’ve known them, that just draws you in. It instantly makes you feel like you’ve known one another forever.

For Zack and Randa, it all started at a college party at Virginia Tech. Soon after Randa entered the room that night, she noticed Zack, and immediately felt a familiarity and comfort in his presence. What she didn’t know then, (but would later realize), was that familiarity was real. And the guy whom she’d once known as “emo boy” would eventually become the man she would spend the rest of her life with.

Enjoy their feature film from their beautiful Virginia Beach wedding!!

Ty and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to film Zack + Randa’s wedding day. We never thought that showing up to film a wedding would allow us to meet a couple on the dance floor and shoot their wedding just one month later, but it happened with these two! They will forever be such a special couple to us!!

We loved working with their photographer, Tyler Phenes! See more of their photos here.

Meet Ashley

A true sweetheart from Southwestern VA, Ash spent many Sundays after church sitting around the table with her grandparents, listening to stories about the “good ‘ole days”. A talented visionary with a true heart for people, she’s likely to be found reading, writing, and planning away.
